Last weekend I went to an event at the Danish Architecture Centre in Copenhagen for my son Max's birthday. He is a big lover of Lego and so this was a treat for him and a chance for some Mummy and Max time. We arrived and were given the instructions - we had two hours to build whatever we wanted. The goal was over the week that people made different buildings and they were all placed together as shown in the photo below.
So what did I learn about myself during these two hours?
I can take these points and relate them to many of my own patterns in my life. A simple exercise as a two hour Lego building session taught me so much. More importantly than anything else was I spent time with Max. I did something he loves to do and that made him SO happy.
