I wanted to share with you my recent experience on writing blog posts and also facts from my recent LinkedIn post.
My recent LinkedIn post got the most visibility any of my posts have had – I have had 1937 views, 103 likes, 12 comments and 9 shares - and I can see the reasons why:
My experience of writing blog posts here is again, the more authentic the post, the more views and comments. I also tell stories and make it so people can connect to the story. I have had over 6500 people read my blog in the last 12 months and I can see patterns in the metrics that follow the same conclusion I shared above.
The timing of any message is key. I hit a need in the “market”. It also has to be relevant to people’s pain points. People follow people and not brands, so tell YOUR story. And give something away – people love to feel they are getting something whether this is tips or exclusive content.
